Is this a Hadith?

أوحى الله إِلَى إِبْرَاهِيم إِنِّي عليم أحب كل عليم

 

Answer

‘Allamah Tajud Din Subki and ‘Allamah ‘Iraqi (rahimahumallah) have stated that they have not come across a chain for this narration. The narration should therefore not be quoted until it can be verified.

(Tabaqatush Shafi’iyyah Al Kubra, vol. 6, pg. 288 and Al Mughni ‘An Hamlil Asfar, Hadith: 18)

Translation

Allah Ta’ala revealed to Ibrahim (‘alayhis salam), “I am the All Knowledgeable and I love those who are knowledgeable”
