What is the authenticity of the following narration?

Abud Darda (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“The one who treads a path seeking the knowledge of Din, Allah Ta’ala will make his path to Jannah easy. The Angels spread out their wings under the feet of the one seeking the knowledge of Din in expression of happiness for the path he has adopted. All the creation in the heavens and the earth, even the fish in the ocean seek forgiveness on behalf of one seeking knowledge. The virtue of an ‘Alim over a worshipper is like the superiority of the moon over all the other stars. And certainly the ‘Ulama are the heirs of the Ambiya. The Ambiya did not leave behind gold and silver coins rather they left behind Knowledge. Whoever has acquired it, really he has acquired a great share”

Imams Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah (rahimahumullah) have recorded this Hadith.

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2682, Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 3636, Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 223)

Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic.

(Sahih Ibn Hibban; Al Ihsan, Hadith: 88. Also see: Fathul Bari, vol. 1 pg. 160)
