What is the status of the Hadith narrator Zayd ibnul Hawari?
Zayd ibnul Hawari was a Tabi’i. Most of his teachers were other senior Tabi’is.
He has been declared weak by the Muhaddithun. Some Muhaddithun on certain occasions declared him slightly credible (salih), but most of the Muhaddithun have declared him weak.
