Is there a Hadith in At Targhib Wat Tarhib which mentions that a Hafiz for every Verse will go to another level?
I think the narrator is Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha).
You are probably referring to the following Hadith reported on the authority of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma):
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “It will be said to the one who memorised the Quran/held fast on the Quran [together with practicing upon it] , “Recite and ascend and recite just as you would recite in the world, for your abode [in Jannah] will be the last verse you recite.”
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 2914, Sunan Abi Dawud, Hadith: 1459, Declared authentic –hasanun sahih– by Imam Tirmidhi. Also see: Targhib, vol. 2 pg. 350)
