وقد يفرق بأن القدسي ما يتعلق بتنزيه ذات الله تعالى وبصفاته الجلالية والجمالية، منسوبا الى الحضرة القدسية تعالى وتقدس.

Explanation:

This is to explain a difference between the subject matter of a normal Hadith and a Hadith Qudsi; that a Hadith Qudsi usually discusses topics related to Allah Ta’ala’s Glory and His qualities as Allah Ta’ala Himself describes it.

This book of Shaykh ‘Abdullah Sirajuddin (rahimahullah) [Sharhul Manzumatil Bayquniyyah] is very beneficial for beginners in the field of Hadith terminology.

Shaykh ‘Abdullah (rahimahullah) is one of the most senior teachers of my senior teacher; Al-‘Allamatul Muhaddith, Shaykh Muhammad ‘Awwamah (hafizahullah).
