Is the following narration suitable to quote?

جاء رجل إلى سليمان النبي [صلى الله عليه وسلم] ، فقال له: يا نبي الله! إن لي جيرانا يسرقون أوزي. فنادى: الصلاة جامعة، ثم خطبهم فقال في خطبته: وأحدكم يسرق أوزة جاره ثم يدخل المسجد والريش على رأسه. فمسح رجل رأسه، فقال سليمان: خذوه؛ فإنه صاحبكم

Answer

This incident is recorded in Al Mujalasah wa Jawahirul ‘ilm on the authority of Muhammad ibn Ka’b Al Qurazi (rahimahullah), a Tabi’i. The incident is suitable to quote.

Muhammad ibn Ka’b Al Qurazi (rahimahullah) related that a man once approached Nabi Sulayman (‘alayhis salam) and said: “O Nabi of Allah, my neighbours are stealing my geese.” Sulayman (‘alayhis salam) called for the people to gather, announcing the congregational Salah. Once they had assembled, he addressed them and said: “One of you steals his neighbour’s goose and then enters the Masjid while the feathers are still on his head!” Upon hearing this, one man [instinctively] touched his head. Sulayman (‘alayhis salam) said, “Seize him, for he is the culprit.”
