Question

I am looking for the narration that mentions whatever part of the pants is below the ankle is in the fire of Jahannam.

Answer

Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu).

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) has reported that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whatever portion of the trouser is below the ankles is in the fire.”

(Sahih Bukhari, Hadith: 5787)
