Is it a Sunnah to use the miswak when entering one’s home to be with one’s family?

Answer

Yes. Sayyidah ‘Aishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) was asked what was the first thing Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would do when he would come home? She replied, “He would use the miswak.”

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 253)
