Question

Is this authentic?

Sayyiduna Abu Musa (radiyallahu ‘anhu) says,

“Never was a Hadith unclear to us, the Sahabah of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and we asked ‘Aishah (radiyallahu ‘anha), except that we found that she would have knowledge regarding it”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration and has declared it authentic (hasanun sahih).

(Sunan Tirmidhi, Hadith: 3883)

(٣٨٨٣) – حدثنا حميد بن مسعدة قال: حدثنا زياد بن الربيع قال: حدثنا خالد بن سلمة المخزومي، عن أبي بردة، عن أبي موسى، قال: «ما أشكل علينا أصحاب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم حديث قط فسألنا عائشة إلا وجدنا عندها منه علما».
«هذا حديث حسن صحيح غريب».
