“Aswad ibn Yazid (rahimahullah) would complete the Quran every second night in Ramadan

Answer

Imam Abu Nu’aym (rahimahullah) and ‘Allamah Dhahabi (rahimahumallah) have recorded this.

(Hilyatul Awliya, vol. 2 pg. 103 and Siyaru A’lamin Nubala, vol. 4, pg. 51)

Aswad ibn Yazid (rahimahullah) was a Mukhadram. [i.e., Those who were alive during the time of Nabi sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam but did not get the opportunity to meet him].

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
