Could you mention the reference for this Hadith please?

أحسن جوار من جاورك تكن مسلما

Answer

Imam Ibn Majah (rahimahullah) has recorded these words on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu). Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) had offered Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) some advice, the words in question being part of them.

Translation

Be a good neighbour to your neighbours and you will be a [true] Muslim.

(٤٢١٧) – علي بن محمد قال: حدثنا أبو معاوية، عن أبي رجاء، عن برد بن سنان، عن مكحول، عن واثلة بن الأسقع، عن أبي هريرة: قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «يا أبا هريرة كن ورعا، تكن أعبد الناس، وكن قنعا، تكن أشكر الناس، وأحب للناس ما تحب لنفسك، تكن مؤمنا، وأحسن جوار من جاورك، تكن مسلما، وأقل الضحك، فإن كثرة الضحك تميت القلب».
