Question

Please confirm the authenticity of this narration,

“The best water on the face of the earth is Zam Zam. In it is nourishment for the hungry and healing for illness”

Answer

Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna  ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ’anhuma).

‘Allamah Mundhiri and ‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahumallah) have declared the narrators reliable and have further stated that Imam Ibn Hibban (rahimahullah) has declared the Hadith authentic.
