Question

Could you kindly translate the following du’a to recite after Adhan:

اللهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَارْضَ عَنْهُ رِضًا لَا سَخَطَ بَعْدَهُ

Whoever makes the above du’a after Adhan, Allah Ta’ala will accept his du’a.

Answer

Translation

O Allah! The Rabb of this perfect call and established Salah, send salutations upon Muhammad and be pleased with him , such pleasure which is never followed by anger”

Reference

Imam Ahmad and Imam Ibnus Sunni (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration on the authority of Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) with  a weak chain.
