Could you please kindly tell me if the virtue for upbringing daughters is promised even if there is only one daughter?

Answer

Yes, this includes those parents who only have one daughter too, as long as she is cared for.

In other words, one who cares for his/her only daughter will also be saved from Jahannam.

(Fathul Bari, Hadith: 5995 and Tuhfatul Bari, Hadith: 1418)
