Is the following Hadith authentic?

إن الإسلام نظيف فتنظفوا فإنه لا يدخل الجنة إلا نظيف

Translation

Islam is indeed clean/pure, so cleanse yourself for only the clean will enter Jannah

Answer

Cleanliness and taharah is an integral part of Islam as has been explained in other authentic narrations.

The narration in question is reported by Imam Tabarani, however it is extremely weak. Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) and others have discredited the reliability of one of the narrators. The Muhaddithun also singled out the teacher of this narrator, from whom he reports extremely weak narrations/fabrications. The Hadith in question is reported through this teacher and should therefore not be quoted.
