Question
What is the authenticity of the following Hadith?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever offers two rak’ahs between Zuhr and ‘Asr on Friday, in the first rak’ah reads Surah Fatihah and Ayatul Kursi and then Surah Falaq 25 times. in the second rak’ah recites Surah Fatihah once and Surah Nas 25 times. Whoever does this will not leave this world without Allah showing him his place in Jannah.”
Answer
This narration has been declared a fabrication by the Muhaddithun. It is therefore not suitable to quote.

The wording of the narration is as follows:
“Whoever performs two rak‘ahs of Salah on Friday between Zuhr and ‘Asr, reciting Surah Fatihah and Ayatul Kursi once in the first rak‘ah, followed by Surah Falaq 25 times, and in the second rak‘ah recites Surah Fatihah, Surah Ikhlas and Surah Nas 25 times, then upon completing the Salah, he says La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah fifty times, he will not leave this world until he sees his Lord in a dream, and sees his place in Jannah, or it will be shown to him.”

[حديث] من صلى يوم الجمعة ما بين الظهر والعصر ركعتين، يقرأ في أول ركعة بفاتحة الكتاب وآية الكرسي مرة واحدة، وخمسا وعشرين مرة {قل أعوذ برب الفلق} ، وفي الركعة الثانية يقرأ بفاتحة الكتاب و {قل هو الله أحد} و {قل أعوذ برب الناس} خمسا وعشرين مرة، فإذا سلم قال لا حول ولا قوة إلا بالله خمسين مرة، فلا يخرج من الدنيا حتى يرى ربه عز وجل في المنام، ويرى مكانه في الجنة، أو يرى له (ابن الجوزي) من حديث ابن عباس وفيه مجاهيل.

أخرجه ابن الجوزي من حديث ابن عباس وقال موضوع وفيه مجاهيل وأقره عليه السيوطي وغيره.
