What is the reference for this statement of Yahya ibn Mu’adh?

Yahya ibn Mu’adh ar Razi (rahimahullah) said: ” Obedience is stored up in the stores of Allah; its key is du’a and its means (efforts) is permissible earnings.”

Answer

This has been cited -without a chain- in Tambihul Ghafilin and Mirqatul Mafatih.

Yahya ibn Mu’adh Ar Razi (rahimahullah) [Demise: 258 A.H.] said: “Obedience is stored in the treasuries of Allah Ta’ala, its key is du’a and its teeth [on the key] are halal morsels/income.”

(Tambihul Ghafilin, pg. 431 and Mirqatul Mafatih, under Hadith: 2498)

(٢٤٩٨) – (وعن أم سلمة أن النبي – صلى الله عليه وسلم – كان يقول في دبر الفجر) : أي: في دبر صلاة الفجر كما في نسخة، وعبارة الأذكار: إذا صلى الصبح ( «اللهم إني أسألك علما نافعا، وعملا متقبلا»)… ولذا قال يحيى بن معاذ الرازي: الطاعة مخزونة في خزائن الله تعالى، ومفتاحها الدعاء، وأسنانه الحلال.
