Question

I would like to know if there is any source that mentions inscribing the words يا مؤمن يا جبار on a ring.

Answer

I have not come across any narration which suggests that the words يا مؤمن يا جبار (Ya Mu-minu Ya Jabbaru) be engraved on a ring.

Hafiz Ibn Rajab Al-Hambali (rahimahullah) authored a treatise concerning the regulations governing rings. Within this treatise, he dedicated a section to engraving or inscribing on rings. Additionally, he included a sub-section focusing on the various wordings and statements that the Sahabah (radiyallahu ‘anhum) and pious predecessors had inscribed on their rings. The words in question are not mentioned here either.
