What is the source for this narration?

Luqman the wise said to his son, “O my beloved son! Do not delay in repentance [tawbah] for death will come to you suddenly”

 

Answer

Imam Abu Bakr ibn Abid Dunya and Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahumallah) have recorded this advice of Luqman Al Hakim.

(Kitabu Qasril Amal, Hadith: 178 and Shu’abul Iman, Hadith: 6802)
