Is the below Hadith authentic?
«تخرج معادن مختلفة معدن منها قريب من الحجاز يأتيه من شرار الناس، يقال له فرعون، فبينما هم يعملون فيه إذ حسر عن الذهب فأعجبهم معتمله إذ خسف به وبهم»
Answer
Imam Hakim (rahimahullah) has recorded this narration as the statement of Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) and not as a Hadith of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). He has declared the narration authentic and ‘Allamah Dhahabi (rahimahullah) concurs.
Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) said: “Different mines will emerge. One will appear close to al-Hijaz. The evilest of people will go to it. While mining, they will suddenly find gold. They will be amazed. Suddenly, they will sink [into the ground].”

The narration may be quoted as reported.
Disclaimer: In principle, the signs of Qiyamah are ambiguous and nuanced and only Allah Ta’ala Knows their precise timing and exact application. One should certainly take heed from such Hadiths and signs, despite their application to specific events being open to interpretation.

أخبرنا غيلان بن يزيد الدقاق، بهمدان، ثنا إبراهيم بن الحسين، ثنا آدم بن أبي إياس، ثنا ابن أبي ذئب، عن قارظ بن شيبة، عن أبي غطفان، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما، يقول: «تخرج معادن مختلفة معدن منها قريب من الحجاز يأتيه من شرار الناس، يقال له فرعون، فبينما هم يعملون فيه إذ حسر عن الذهب فأعجبهم معتمله إذ خسف به وبهم» هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يخرجاه.

(١٦٩٤) – حدثنا ابن وهب، عن ابن أبي ذئب، عن قارظ بن شيبة، عن أبي غطفان، قال: سمعت عبد الله بن عمرو، يقول: «تخرج معادن مختلفة، معدن فيها قريب من الحجاز يقال له فرعون ذهب، يذهب إليه شرار الناس، فبينما هم يعملون فيه إذ حسر لهم عن الذهب فأعجبهم معتمله إذ خسف به وبهم».
