Could you reference the narration?

Sayyiduna Mu’awiyah al-Qushayri (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates:

“I went to Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) and asked him, “How do you command us [to treat] our wives?” He replied, ‘Feed them from what you eat, clothe them from what you wear, and do not beat or revile them.”

Answer

Imam Abu Dawud (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith.

(٢١٣٧) – أخبرني أحمد بن يوسف المهلبي النيسابوري، حدثنا عمر بن عبد الله ابن رزين، حدثنا سفيان بن حسين، عن داود الوراق، عن سعيد بن حكيم، عن أبيه عن جده معاوية القشيري قال: أتيت رسول الله – صلى الله عليه وسلم – قال: فقلت: ما تقول في نسائنا؟ قال: «أطعموهن مما تأكلون، واكسوهن مما يكتسون، ولا تضربوهن، ولا تقبحوهن».
