Question

What is the source and authenticity of the following narration?
Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said, “The person who confers one hundred blessings upon me daily, one hundred of his needs shall be fulfilled; thirty in this world and the rest in the Hereafter.”

Answer

‘Allamah Sakhawi (rahimahullah) has referenced this Hadith to Ibn Mandah.

Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever sends one hundred salutations upon me daily, Allah will fulfil one hundred of his needs; seventy for the Hereafter and thirty in this world.”

(Al Qawlul Badi’, pg. 277)

‘Allamah Sakhawi (rahimahullah) has quoted Abu Musa Al Madini (rahimahullah) to have declared this narration sound (gharibun hasan). ‘Allamah Sakhawi (rahimahullah) has also stated that the Hadith of Sayyiduna Anas (radiyallahu ‘anhu) corroborates the Hadith in question.

(Al Ajwibatul Mardiyyah, vol. 3, pg. 947)
