Some Hadiths reported by Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha)

Question

Can you please cite some Hadiths reported by Sayyidah Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha), the daughter of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)?

Answer

Hereunder are some Hadiths reported by Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha):

1) Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha) once came walking and her gait resembled the gait of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam). Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘Welcome, my daughter!’ and he made her sit to his right or to his left and then secretly told her something that made her weep.’ Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) asked her, ‘What made you weep?’ Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) whispered something to her again which caused her to laugh. ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) said, ‘I have never seen happiness so near to sorrow like today!’ ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha) further says, ‘I asked her again about what Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) had said and she replied, ‘I will not divulge the secret of the Messenger of Allah.’ When Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) passed away, I asked her and she said, ‘He confided to me that Jibril used to recite the Quran to me once a year. This year, he recited it to me twice. I think that my time [of demise] is approaching, and you will be the first of the people of my home to join me, so I wept.’ Then he said, ‘Are you not pleased that you will be the leader of the women of Jannah or [the leader] of the women of the Believers?’ and I laughed at that.'”

2) Sayyidah Fatimah (radiyallahu ‘anha) reports that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “There is a time on a Friday, if a Muslim asks Allah [makes du’a] for some good, Allah will grant it to him.”
