What is the translation of the following Hadith?

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: مررت ليلة أسري بي على موسى بن عمران عليه السلام، رجل آدم طوال جعد كأنه من رجال شنوءة، ورأيت عيسى ابن مريم مربوع الخلق إلى الحمرة والبياض، سبط الرأس، وأري مالكا خازن النار، والدجال في آيات أراهن الله إياه

Answer

This narration is recorded in Sahih Muslim. Imam Bukhari (rahimahullah) has also recorded this Hadith with slight variation in the wording.

In this Hadith, Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) described the Ambiya he had seen during Mi’raj.

The translation of the version in question is as follows:

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas (radiyallahu ‘anhuma) reported that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“On the night of Mi’raj, I passed by Musa ibn ‘Imran (‘alayhis salam). He had a wheatish complexion, tall, and a sturdy body as though he was from the men of the Shanuah [tribe]. I saw ‘Isa ibn Maryam, he was of medium stature, white and red complexion, lank hair. I was shown Malik; the gatekeeper of Jahannam and Dajjal among other signs”  [the narrator adds, ‘Which Allah showed him’]
