Question
What is the source and authenticity of the following narration?
Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said that Allah will order on the Day of Qiyamah: “Take out of Jahannam all persons who professed La ilaha illallahu and who had an iota of Imaan in their hearts. Take all those who recited La ilaha illallahu or remembered Me in any way or feared Me on any occasion.”
Answer
Imam Hakim (rahimahullah) recorded this Hadith and declared it authentic. ‘Allamah Dhahabi (rahimahullah) has concurred with him.
Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla will say [on the day of Qiyamah]: ‘Remove from the Fire [of Jahannam] whoever said La Ilaha Illalah [There is none worthy of worship except Allah] and in his heart is the weight of a grain of barley of Iman [faith]. Remove from the Fire whoever said La Ilaha Illalah and in his heart is the weight of a grain of wheat of Iman. Remove from the Fire whoever said La Ilaha Illalah and remembered Me, or feared Me in any situation.'”

(٢٣٤) – حدثنا يحيى بن منصور القاضي، ثنا أبو بكر محمد بن النضر بن سلمة الجارودي، ثنا محمود بن غيلان، ثنا المؤمل، ثنا المبارك بن فضالة، ثنا عبيد الله بن أبي بكر، عن جده أنس بن مالك قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «يقول الله عز وجل: أخرجوا من النار من قال: لا إله إلا الله، وفي قلبه مثقال شعيرة من الإيمان، أخرجوا من النار من قال: لا إله إلا الله، وفي قلبه مثقال برة من الإيمان، أخرجوا من النار من قال: لا إله إلا الله، وذكرني، أو خافني في مقام».
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يخرجا قوله: «من ذكرني، أو خافني في مقام». وقد تابع أبو داود مؤملا على روايته، واختصره:
أخبرناه أبو محمد يحيى بن منصور، ثنا أبو بكر الجارودي، ثنا إسحاق بن منصور، ثنا أبو داود، ثنا مبارك بن فضالة، عن عبيد الله بن أبي بكر، عن أنس بن مالك قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: [يعني يقول الله عز وجل]: «أخرجوا من النار من ذكرني يوما، أو خافني في مقام»
