Answer

This narration is recorded in ‘Amalul Yawmi Wal Laylah of Imam Ibnus Sunni.

Sayyiduna ‘Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would recite the following du’a in the morning:

Translation: We awoke and “We have awoken this morning and the Kingdom awoke belonging to Allah. All Praise belongs to Allah. Grandeur and Majesty belong to Allah. The Creation and the Command, night and day and all that lives in them belong to Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. O Allah, make the first part of this day righteousness, the middle of it success and the end of it prosperity, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”

(‘Amalul Yawmi Wal Laylah, Hadith: 38. Also see: Al Adhkar, Hadith: 225)

Imams Abu Bakr Ibn Abi Shaybah and Tabarani (rahimahumallah) have also recorded this narration with slight variation in the wording.

(Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Hadith: 29888, Kitabud Du’a of Imam Tabarani, Hadith: 296)

‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has pointed out a very weak narrator in the chain.

(Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 114/115. Also refer to: Mizanul I’tidal, vol. 3 pg. 339, number: 6316 and footnotes of Shaykh Muhammad ‘Awwamah -hafizahullah- on Musannaf, Hadith: 29888)

And Allah Ta’ala Knows best.
