Question
What is the authenticity of the following narration?
He who recites Surah Takathur, Allah will not account the bounties he was given in the world and He will award him such a reward as if he had recited one thousand verses [of the Quran].
Answer
This narration is part of the lengthy fabricated Hadith which mentions the virtue of reciting the various Surahs of the Quran. The Muhaddithun have declared this narration a fabrication. The Hadith is not suitable to quote.

However, in a suitable Hadith, Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) has equated the recitation of Surah Takathur to a thousand verses. See here
