Kindly inform me if this is the words of a Hadith?
“Death in relation to what is after is just like a headbutt of a goat”
Answer
Yes. This is a Hadith recorded in Al Mu’jamul Awsat of Imam Tabarani (rahimahullah).
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Death in relation to what is to come after is merely like the headbutt of a goat.”
(Al Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 8290)
‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) states, “There are some narrators in this chain whose [credibility] I am unaware of.” (وفيه جماعة لم أعرفهم)

(٨٢٩٠) – حدثنا موسى بن زكريا، نا بشر بن سيحان، نا بكار بن عاصم الليثي، عن محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سلمة، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «ما الموت فيما بعده إلا كنطحة عنز».
لم يرو هذا الحديث عن محمد بن عمرو إلا بكار بن عاصم، تفرد به: بشر بن سيحان.
مجمع الزوائد ومنبع الفوائد: (١٠/ ٣٣٤)
وعن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «ما الموت فيما بعده إلا كنطحة عنز».
رواه الطبراني في الأوسط، وفيه جماعة لم أعرفهم.
