Answer

Hereunder is the narration as recorded in Al Mu’jamul Awsat of Imam Tabarani:

Sayyiduna Anas (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reports, [the narrator says, ‘I think he said, ‘Nabi sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam said’]:

“The son of Adam never encountered anything more severe since Allah created him than death and death is the easiest of what is to come. On that Day [Qiyamah] they will encounter extreme difficulties, so much so that their perspiration will bridle them. [The perspiration will be so profuse] that if ships were set to sail, they would float.”

(Al Ml Mu’jamul Awsat, Hadith: 1997)

‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has declared the chain authentic (jayyid).

(Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 10 pg. 334)
