Is this Hadith authentic?

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “How can I enjoy life [and be at ease] when the [angel] entrusted with the Horn has placed it to his mouth and has lent his ear attentively, waiting for the order to blow it. This statement seemed to bear heavily upon the Sahabah of Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) so he said to them: ‘Say: Hasbunallahu wa ni’mal wakil– Allah is sufficient for us! The Most Excellent is He in Whom we trust and upon Allah we rely.”

Answer

Imam Tirmidhi (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyiduna Abu Sa’id Al Khudri (radiyallahu ‘anhu). He has declared the Hadith sound (hasan).

سنن الترمذي:
(٢٤٣١) – حدثنا سويد قال: أخبرنا عبد الله قال: أخبرنا خالد أبو العلاء، عن عطية، عن أبي سعيد، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «كيف أنعم وصاحب القرن قد التقم القرن واستمع الإذن متى يؤمر بالنفخ فينفخ» فكأن ذلك ثقل على أصحاب النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال لهم: «قولوا: حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل على الله توكلنا»: «هذا حديث حسن، وقد روي من غير وجه هذا  الحديث عن عطية، عن أبي سعيد الخدري، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم نحوه».
