Question

Is it true that two snakes will be released upon the disbeliever in his grave? One will be at his head and the other at his feet, they will be biting him until the Day of Qiyamah.

 

Answer

Yes. Imam Ahmad (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith on the authority of Sayyidah ‘Aaishah (radiyallahu ‘anha).

(Musnad Ahmad, vol. 6 pg. 152)

 

‘Allamah Haythami (rahimahullah) has declared the chain sound (hasan).

(Majma’uz Zawaid, vol. 3 pg. 55)
