The Etiquette of Greeting When Entering at Night

QuestionI am searching for the Hadith which mentions how Rasulullah (sallallahu 'alayhi wa sallam) would make salam when he entered. The greeting was such that it would not disturb the sleeping person but was loud enough for someone awake to hear it.
