Is this narration reliable and what is the explanation
:عَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَل رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
إِنَّكُمْ عَلَى بَيِّنَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ مَا لَمْ تَظْهَرْ فِيكُمْ سَكْرَتَانِ، سَكْرَةُ الْجَهْلِ وَسَكْرَةُ حُبِّ الْعَيْشِ وَأَنْتُمْ تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَتَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَتُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَإِذَا ظَهَرَ فِيكُمْ حُبُّ الدُّنْيَا فَلا تَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلا تَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَلا تُجَاهِدُونَ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ الْقَائِلُونَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِالْكِتَابِ وَالسُّنَّةِ كَالسَّابِقِينَ الأَوَّلِينَ مِنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ وَالأَنْصَارِ
Answer
Imam Bazzar (rahimahullah) has recorded this Hadith with a suitable chain.
(Kashful Astar, Hadith: 3312 and Majma’uz Zawaid, vol.7 pg.271)
Explanatory Translation
Indeed you (my Ummah) are upon a clear path [that has come to you] from your Rabb. [You will remain such] as long as two types of intoxication do not become visible among you; the intoxication of ignorance and that of the love for comforts.
You [also] currently engage in commanding the good and forbidding the wrong in addition to striving in Allah’s way. When the love for the world will become apparent among you, you will not command the good or forbid the wrong. You will even stop striving in Allah’s way. In that era, those who speak in accordance to the [rules of] the Quran and Sunnah will be like the preceding earlier Muhajirun and Ansar.’ i.e, in the similarity of holding onto the Din in the face of opposition and challenge…
