What is the status of this narration:

إذا كان يوم القيامة يقول الله تعالى للعابدين والمجاهدين ادخلوا الجنة، فيقول العلماء بفضل علمنا تعبدوا وجاهدوا، فيقول الله عز وجل: أنتم عندي كبعض ملائكتي اشفعوا تشفعوا فيشفعون ثم يدخلون الجنة

Answer

‘Allamah ‘Iraqi (rahimahullah) has referenced this narration to Kitabul ‘Ilm of Abul ‘Abbas Al Murhibi and has declared the chain weak. However, ‘Allamah Zabidi (rahimahullah) has declared the chain extremely weak.

Translation

On the Day of Qiyamah, Allah Ta’ala will say to the worshippers and the mujahidun [those who fought in his path], ‘Enter Jannah.’ The scholars will say; ‘Due to our knowledge they worshipped and strove.’ Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla will say; ‘You are like some of My angels, intercede!’ So they will intercede and then they will enter Jannah.’”
