Question

What is the status of the following Hadith?

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Three (kinds of people) will enter Jahannam first, a ruler who sets himself up as a lord over people, a wealthy person who does not pay what is due to Allah (ie. Zakah) and a vainglorious poor person”

Answer

Imams Ibn Khuzaymah and Ibn Hibban (rahimahumallah) have recorded this narration and have deemed it authentic.
