Ibn Manazil (rahimahullah) said: “A believer seeks excuses for his brother while a hypocrite seeks mistakes.”

Answer

Imam Bayhaqi (rahimahullah) has recorded this statement of ‘Abdullah ibn Muhammad ibn Manazil, an ascetic. [Demise: 331 A.H.]
