    Explanation of a word in the du’a Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) would recite when leaving home

    Question In the below mentioned du’a to recite when leaving home, can the word أضلّ in the abovementioned narration be taken to mean guidance as far as navigation i.e. for one not to lose his way or get lost? اللَّهُم اني أعوذُ بِكَ أن أَضِلَّ أو أُضَلَّ، أو أَزلَّ أو أُزَلَّ، أو أَظْلِمَ أو أُظلَمَ، أو أجهَل أو يُجْهَل عَلىَّ

    Announcing a lost item in the Masjid

    Question Is this Hadith authentic? Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is reported to have said, “Whoever hears a person announcing a lost item in the Masjid then he should say, “May Allah not return it to you for verily the Masjid has not been built for this purpose.”

    Missing three Jumu’ahs

    Question I wanted to know the status of the following Hadith: Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “Whoever neglects Jumu’ah [due to laziness and carelessness] three times without an excuse, then Allah sets a seal upon his heart.” Could you also explain what does ‘seal’ mean and what is regarded as a valid excuse?
