    The masnun method of shaking someone’s hand

    Question I was told that there exists a Hadith wherein mention is made that Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) used to give a firm handshake whilst making Musafahah (i.e. shaking hands) [meaning to give it a wedge moving it up and down, as is normally observed in our daily interactions].     Providing water for people causes sins to fall away

    Question Is this Hadith authentic? Sayyiduna Anas ibn Malik (radiyallahu ‘anhu) reported that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: “When your sins are plentiful, then continuously provide water [for people], your sins will fall off just like a tree sheds its leaves on a stormy day.”
