ما من عبد يقول حين رد الله إليه روحه: لا إله إلا الله وحده لا شريك له، له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير، إلا غفر الله له ذنوبه ولو كانت مثل زبد البحر

Translation

“Whoever reads the following du’a upon awakening, Allah will forgive his sins, even if it be like the foam of the ocean,

La ilaha illallahu wahdahu la sharika lahu lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay in qadir”

Allah Ta’ala says:

“Whosoever does not beg of me due to being engaged in recital of the Quran and engaging in my dhikr, then I will grant him more than I grant those who ask”

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Whomsoever does the following three actions with Iman, will enter Jannah from whichever door he wishes and will be married to the Maidens of Jannah when he wishes,

1) Whoever forgives his murderer,

2) Fulfills a debt secretly

3) and recites Surah Ikhlas ten times after Fard Salah.

Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (radiyallahu ‘anhu) then asked, ‘What about doing one only’?. Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) replied, ‘Even if you do one only [you will attain this reward]’

Suppressing one’s anger, a means of averting Allah’s punishment

Is this narration reliable?

“Allah abandons the punishment to anyone who can abandon his own anger”

Unlimited reward for striving in the path of Allah

I have seen a Hadith saying Rasulullah (sallallahu’alayhi wasallam) said: ‘Striving in the part of Allah is better than all the good you can do for your family.’

The reference was mustadrak. How do we explain above Hadith with the other that says: the best of you is who is best to his family?

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : إذا جمع الله الخلائق يوم القيامة ، نادى مناد : أين أهل الفضل ؟ فيقوم ناس وهم يسير ، فينطلقون سراعا إلى الجنة ، فتتلقاهم الملائكة ، فيقولون : إنا نراكم سراعا إلى الجنة ، فمن أنتم ؟ فيقولون : نحن أهل الفضل ، فيقولون : وما فضلكم ؟ فيقولون : كنا إذا ظلمنا صبرنا ، وإذا أسئ إلينا عفونا ، وإذا جهل علينا حلمنا ، فيقال لهم : ادخلوا الجنة فنعم أجر العاملين ، قال : ثم ينادي مناد : أين أهل الصبر ؟ فيقوم ناس وهم يسير ، فينطلقون إلى الجنة سراعا ، فتتلقاهم الملائكة ، فيقولون : إنا نراكم سراعا إلى الجنة ، فمن أنتم ؟ فيقولون : نحن أهل الصبر ، فيقولون : وما صبركم ؟ فيقولون : كنا نصبر على طاعة الله عز وجل ، وكنا نصبر عن معاصي الله ، فيقال لهم : ادخلوا الجنة ، فنعم أجر العاملين ، قال : ثم ينادي مناد : أين المتحابون في الله ، أو قال : في ذات الله ؟ فيقوم ناس وهم يسير ، فينطلقون سراعا إلى الجنة ، فتتلقاهم الملائكة فيقولون : إنا نراكم سراعا إلى الجنة ، فمن أنتم ؟ فيقولون : كنا نتحاب في الله , عز وجل , ونتزاور في الله ، ونتعاطف في الله ، ونتباذل في الله ، فيقال لهم : ادخلوا فنعم أجر العاملين ، قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : ويضع الله الموازين للحساب بعد ما يدخل هؤلاء الجنة

A great reward for offering Tahajjud salah

Can you please tell me the authenticity of the following Hadith:

Nabi (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said:

“Allah Ta’ala will say, ‘Where are those that prayed Tahajjud?’ To which a few people will get up and then they will be instructed to go to Jannah without any reckoning where as everyone else will be ordered to come for the reckoning.” (Shu’abul Iman of Bayhaqi)

An unauthentic virtue for the opening verses of Surah An’am

I just wonder whether you could verify the authenticity

Sayyiduna Jabir (radiyallahu ‘anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said,

“Whoever prays the first three verses of Surah An’aam until Wa ya’lamu ma taksibun, Allah Ta’ala appoints for him one thousand angels who record his worship similar of their own. And an angel descends from the seventh heaven, with a crooked rod of iron. Now when the satan wishes to whisper to the reciter or drive into his heart the inclination of some sin the angel hits the satan such a hard blow that seventy barriers form between the satan and the reciter. And on Resurrection Day Allah Ta’ala will say to him, ‘Walk in My shade this day in which besides My shade no other shade exists. And eat the fruits of My paradise and drink from the pool of Kawthar, and take a wash from the spring of Salsabil, for you are My servant and I am your Lord.”

Question

Is there any narration mentioning virtue of reciting Surah Ikhlas 10 times, or 20 times or more. I know about the narration mentioning reward of reciting it thrice. Any other narration?

Objection by a brother regarding leaving Madinah for propagating Islam

Question

A brother in the Path of Allah (Tabligh), after the bayan, narrated the virtues that praying in Masjidul Ḥaram has 100,000 times rewards and praying in Masjidun Nabawi has 50,000 times rewards, but the Sahabah still left Arabia to spread the Din.

In response, a brother raised the following question:

Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam) migrated to Madinah, and even after conquering Makkah, returned to Madinah again. He also spent the rest of his life mostly in Madinah. We have to follow the Prophet (sallallahu ‘alayhi wasallam), so what should we do?

Please give us a brief explanation in light of the abovementioned facts.
